But you and SR need to reconcile your "bad US" attitude with the fact that we are still the country which more citizens of other countries want to get into than any other. This is "democracy of the feet." The leaders of Europe may not like us much. But more of their people are coming here than of our people going there. The Phillipines may not like us much, but the democracy of the feet of ordinary people says this is still a lot better place to be than there. Maybe it's arrogance to those outside. To those inside, it more often (not always, but more often) looks like jealousy.
