This Is True - It Does Get In The Way Of Trading Look at the time stamp on the release of the data and the timing of the the ramp. Look at the way in which the pop is propagated through the market. Could someone explain to me why INTC is leading the Dow up 4.1%? Or why the Dow is up at all? I guess those companies are not dependent of consumers. As INDU approached its 200 SMA the focus shifted to key Nasdaq components. $SOX now at 200 SMA, $INDU at 200 SMA, $NDX at 100 SMA, $NYA at 100 SMA, $SPX at 100 SMA - but nobody thinks it might be a reasonable time to take some money off the table. Right- Let's shut down the futures and see how this market trades.
