The press often unethically exploits small things on a slow news day. In a 40,000-person organization there's always a little deadwood (both people and projects), and you use tight quarters to get rid of it. To somehow equate this noise-level adjustment with being "the latest domino to be pushed over" is just a lot of B.S. Would they also have been the "latest domino to be pushed over" if they had eliminated ten jobs? This is news? --QS
