Several things are making me want to buy. I will not succumb to the temptation. If we are truly going to turn towards the promised land there will be plenty of time to get aboard.

I think that any rally from shorts covering will be contained by the trendline resistance somewhere around 2100 (give or take 15 pts).

I assume that you are looking at the idea that shorts will be uncomfortable staying short overnight and therefore will cover. Of course, if that happens, that will help to take out the support that would mitigate any selloff.

I would love to wait until we are closer to CSCO's earnings date (8/7) before selling CCs, but if we rally up above 2080 today, I will sell the CCs near the close today, rather than later this week.
