I have known several women who were diagnosed with different stages of cancer, but all the same kind, and they all lived/live in different places. Julie was not the worst case. Brenda was the worst, stage four. Of these women, all but one is a believer, and Brenda had the least amount of emotional support. She was left to drive herself to chemo. The miracle of all of this, is that all of the others have fared well. Brenda is 100% cancer free. The doctors cannot believe it. That is a miracle. She is fine. She is sharing her story with many others. So, it is our job to commit things to prayer, and let God be responsible for the outcome. Her story was a witness to an unbelieving husband, so sometimes we do not know the extenuating circumstances at play, and there are more factors than we realize. But, He knows ALL of this and everything is under control. Often, we just need to trust Him. Years ago, I prayed for the gift of Faith, and with that comes the action of living it. Another story is that this retired man stood on the corner, day after day, selling paper flowers for $1. He also got a chance to share with everyone who stopped. I saw him week after week. One week, he was sent to the hospital with cancer, and when the doctors went in, it was not to be found. Guess who he got the chance to talk to while he was there? Everyone he met, and he was so excited about what the Lord did for Him. Several years went by and the newspaper did a write up about him, and his ministry. He was so happy. One week later, he read his Bible, underlined the verse about finishing the race and finished the race, literally. He was such a joy and lived a wonderful life, for the Lord. Westi
