No chit! Well it is equally bad form to jump in a conversation make a comment which shows you haven't been following the thread. If you are going to comment on a message it really is best to follow the message back to the origins of the original statement, otherwise it makes you look like an idiot when you comment on things missing or omitted that were previously disclosed just a few messages back. It's not like I was following up an answer from a post from several days ago, but one from less than an hour before.

But I don't read upstream messages, :)

I could make a long list of things you don't do that you should before posting your little droppings.
