Pacific Century said in a press statement that the five-storey hotel portion of the complex will be called "Four Seasons Hotel, Tokyo at Marunouchi" and will be ready for business in late 2002. The entire complex, called Pacific Century Place Marunouchi, measures 80,000 square meters and is valued at US$1.1 billion, the company said in the press statement. No financial details were given regarding the terms of the contract and company officials in Japan weren't immediately available for comment. The complex has 31 floors, of which 24 are for office-use. The office space is due to open in November and tenant capacity currently stands at 70%, the company said. It is located in Tokyo's central business district, next to Tokyo Station, the city's principal rail hub.
