I don't know. Is it about that for everyone? Do we want to "make" it be that way? I can't quite imagine a quality sexual encounter without intimacy, but lots of people claim they exist. Are they wrong? I don't know. Maybe they are just different. But I really don't know. Because I have very little experience, I've no idea what the "right" answer might be for other people. And I certainly wouldn't want to be very aggressive about advocating for something that might actually be wrong for other people.
