Hi richard surckla; Heck yeah I'm a paid basher! I'm making tons of money for bashing Rambus. And every time you mention my name, I get a $500 bonus! My team of 43 assistants all cheer whenever we get another mention by a long, cause that means we're getting under their skins! If one of you admits that he's sold his stock, we have a 4-keg party over here! I wish you could have seen what it's been like for the last four months. Guys high fiving each other in the halls, laughter, merriment. Probably pretty much the exact opposite of what's going on at Rambus headquarters. :( And you're right. We actually use 3 typists, and each of them is a total professional. They take turns taking dictation from whoever is designated as the person in charge of responding to the latest breakout, but they're all professionals. Each is on duty for 8 hours per day. Basic pay starts at $33,000 and goes up if they don't make too many errors... What I like best about this job, however, is the girls! Girls, girls girls, they're just all over us! That's cause we're successful bashers, and the money is just rolling in! Think about it. Rambus has 100 million shares. They dropped from $145 to $8 per share. That's 13.7 billion dollars. For 44 employees, that's profits of 300 million each! Of course we're partying on! And we're collecting up RMBS shares, cause we know Rambus is going to explode, yes just explode upwards! This is the next big thing, just like QCOM, just like CSCO or MSFT! Don't believe what you read in the press, the technical community loves Rambus! That's right, they love, love, love Rambus to death! They hate DDR, but they only say that they like the stuff because we pay them. It takes a cut out of that 300 million dollars we each earned, but it's worth it! We've paid off everybody. You already knew about the judges and the jury we bought. But what you didn't know is that we paid Rambus lawyers to take a dive. We even have the management at Intel on the payroll. That's right, we're a big, colossal, secret organization, and we're devoted to destroying Rambus! And since we've paid off the supreme court, we're going to do it! And when we get that stock down to $.10 per share, we're going to buy it up, that's right buy it up, and make billions off the profits. Cause you know that no bashing scheme is to drive the stock down, it's really just to get the stock down to a very cheap price so the bashers can buy in! -- Carl P.S. Just remember! I'm pretty sure it is the work of one person. If more than one people are posting, their should be difference in writing style, especially if they have to type fast. Besides, posting on SI doesn't affect the price of a stock. (well, it does affect a little but not worth it to hire a paid basher) Especially lately, SI is pretty much dead compare to two years ago.... If you can type 60 wpm, you can finish nice one page article in 3 minutes. I've seen a guy who can type 100 wpm (with only two fingers) So far, in one week, this is what I think: 1. Carl is a chip designer as he claim to be. He sure seem to know more about chip design and the chip industry than most of you. So far I haven't seen a good match yet. 2. I don't think he has any RMBS short postion (He certaitly isn't a long). If he shorted in when RMBS was flying 100s, most shorties would have covered by now. It's not worth to keep holding. (If you shorted 10,000 shares at $100, by now you have made over $900,000. From now, all you can make is less than $80,000, even if RMBS go bankrupt) 3. Carl does seem to know a helluva lot of RMBS and chip. And he is enjoying showing off his knowledge. You know it feels good to let the world know how brilliant you really are! Also, getting an response on SI and posting CAN be addictive. At one point I was addicted to internet and SI. 4. What I don't understand so far is that Carl seem to have pretty storng bitterness toward RMBS management team. So I'm thinking Carl might have somehow hurt by RMBS management team in the past. And he is paying back, double.
