I think Josh is just saying that jokes belittling women are inappropriate. Some of us got the message a long time ago.

I've noticed, though, that it is acceptable to belittle men. Just watch a few commercials on TV. Many of them make men look like complete idiots. You couldn't do that to women and not expect a major boycott of your product.
