Stan, FWIW, Ingram Micro (#1 computer products distributor in the world with $6 billion is sales last quarter) reported Q2 earnings tonight and stated:

``We don't see any trends that would indicate that the demand slump is changing,'' said Kent Foster, chairman and chief executive of Ingram Micro, in a telephone interview. ``If it doesn't pick up in Q4, I would expect this thing to drag on some time.''

Ingram warned that sales for the third quarter would be down slightly from the prior quarter and as much as 25 percent from the year-earlier quarter.
