Companies can warn any time they want to. They are also not legally bound to warn, only honor-bound.

Sure hope that won't be the case, but I believe it is possible.

I'm going to have to check the SEC to find out about that rule. Wouldn't you agree that if ntap were to warn, it would have been in the shadow of emc's warning again this quarter?
