Now as to conflict of interest issues, that is a different story, and I have always maintained that analysts have had conflict of interests that are egregious. Clearly, an enormous conflict of interest exists when an analyst's company has large investment banking business with the company that the analyst is covering. Clearly, a conflict of interest exists when an analyst owns stock in a company he is covering. And I believe that criminal penalties should apply when an analyst recommends a position in a stock for which he has a contrary position or has recently changed positions such as selling his stock while still maintaining a "Buy". But none of these issues pertain to your original hypothesis. I would also note that we just had a new "Buy" creep into LSI, which was an excellent indication that LSI will now move up if past history is any indication, since the first new "Buy" after a down cycle has gone on for a period of time is usually a terrific time to buy just as the first "Hold" (Sell) in an up cycle is usually a terrific time to sell. Now my question of you is why do the inmates have to be hairy? I can understand horny and big, but why hairy? Why can't they just be clean shaven or better yet have the latest in bikini waxes--including the honeymoon package--smooth sailing--if you know what I mean? I mean prisoners have fashion rights too. Thus, I continue to mock you.
