I do not know where you live but I believe the housing market is weak in this area which allows for a decent value on a house.

Well, I'm shopping in Denver, and when you have all my requirements, it's not easy to find the perfect place. That said, the market has definitely improved for home buyers lately -- my understanding is that most homes are going for under the ask price now.
