Leigh,

Mike took the children to work with him this morning. He is coming home after his store manager has lunch. But I have to tell you this little tid bit.

Last night at 10:30, right before Kevin was going to bed, he was asking me for a cup. He had to go outside and get me something for my birthday. I have mentioned many times that he is always bringing me in some kind of flower he picks from the yard. I told him it was too dark to go outside and it was bedtime, he could do it tomorrow. Well like I said, Mike took them to work with him this morning. I had no idea he woke them up, until Mike came back and brought me coffee, a danish and a rose, and woke me up. He told me to enjoy my morning, the boys were with him. I was surprised even more so when he told me they were in the car eating a danish just like the one he bought for me. (The car we got last week...and he was letting them eat in it??? wow it must be a special day) He told me when he woke them up, that he ask them to be really quiet, and they were.
The best part of the story so far is that, I was clearing off the kitchen table a little and what did I find. A small tupperware sippy type cup, with a single "flower" in it. I heard Kevin outside after Mike woke me up yelling "wait dad" and i heard the back door. I am betting that Kevin had to bring my "flower" into the house. Now let me tell you about my flower, it is the most beautiful weed I have ever seen. Yep, that's all it is, and over grown weed. Not a bit of color on it other than green. A weed in the truest sense of the word. Nothing that resembles a flower, unless you look at it through my eyes!! And then it is beautiful!!
