Hi Darwin

Glad to hear you have been doing okay.

In regards to the companies you mentioned, Talisman Energy was my #1 choice prior, but that was when shares were in the $25-30 range. I still rate them high because of their international presence. I Always liked Rio Alto Exploration and liked their exposure to natural gas. Anderson dropped out of favor about five years ago and has never regained investor confidence since. Although I am no longer in the mainstream of investor sentiment - I would think they should be "reviewed" as an asset play - real value of their property holdings.

Among the majors, I thought Alberta Energy rated right behind Talisman as far as longer range investments were concerned. Among the integrated oils, I still would favor Petro-Canada as being a great long term holding.

As long as you are investing into these type companies, your portfolio should prosper over time. Five years ago I stated the key to growth progress among the "larger" O&G companies in Canada was the international arena - I still stand by that.

Continued good fortunes
Kerm - The Korner Guy
