I sold my CIEN position a long time before these guys sold what looks like a very small number of shares compared to their holdings. If I was them, I would have done the same thing given the psychology of the market at the time. I don't like insider selling but in this case, I know these guys have personally created a lot of wealth for others and these small sales do not concern me with the health of the enterprise.

Ah. What planet are you from?

A sale of 2600 shares is just pocket change for some of these folks who own millions of shares, and have options to purchase millions more.

When you see insiders truly dumping by selling blocks of 100,000 shares at a time, it may be cause for concern. Otherwise it is a non-event.

You might do better by posting over on Raging Bull or Motley Fool.
