Which would put AMD close to a half generation ahead of Intel 6 months from now - using 10% more expensive wafers to produce 40% smaller die.

It just gets better and better for AMD, doesn't it?

the article is 2+ years old. At that time intel still insisted that copper benefits do not provide sufficient justification for copper process. Remind me if intel is still using al in their .13um process
