re the cya bit, it always amuses me that certain stocks are marginable while others are not...it seems like an automatic thing, i.e. yhoo (just as an example) trades over a certain price, so golly gee, you can borrow money using that as collateral...meanwhile tvx (surely a lousy performer in a sector that gets no respect anyway) actually outperformed it in the last 12 months...businessmen have to justify their collateral for loans but not stock holders !

To All, Real work is such a trip after the training tedium. And I haven't even gotten to the best part, which is helping folks invest. I am still not recognized by the computer, though I am told every day that the problem will be solved. I'm sorry, Hal, for whatever I did. ("Don't act like you don't know what you did, MB. You KNOW!") <g> I may have to pull a 24 hourer to catch up on all the paperwork I am skipping while opening accounts. It just amazes me that I've been training since March 16 and the system still isn't ready for Prime Time now that I've been shaked and baked. <G> C'est la guerre.
