I heard somebody inadvertently state on CNBC that the buy-side analysts had earnings growth estimates 20 percentage points lower than the corresponding sell-side analysts. This was back in June, and no one on the roundtable said anything. They were just quiet as if someone inadvertently let out a cuss word or a brain fart.

Nah, I always figured his desk was right next to Mary Meeker's, and that they often go to lunch together to share ideas. You know, like Luc does with GZ, American Spirit and Crystal Balls.<G>
