07:59 ET EMC Corp (EMC) 19.72: Goldman Sachs analyst Laura Conigliaro says that EMC's comment at a pre-analyst meeting dinner that July demand was similar to April could imply that Goldman's forecast of a sequential revenue decline is too pessimistic, EMC's backend-loaded qtr makes it too early to call.

I am the last one to believe in analysts' recommendations.

Yet, let's face it, brokerages like MS or ML do move stocks short-term. I wouldn't worry about it if I had October puts, but August puts? - I would close them if I were you.
