But high pressure sales and public transactions are part of normal human interactions. Why make a distinction for sex that you don't for buying and selling cars?

The fact is that we DO differentiate sex. Intercourse and confessions are the only two activities I can think of at the moment that we never do in public.

Sex isn't just like any other human interaction.
