dave, what economic productivity good does a computer contribute if it doesn't increase the dollar output/hours worked ratio? is the point of our economy no longer to make dollars? is it now to stock pile computer speed for the sake of stock piling computer speed? if a faster computer doesn't ultimately increase the dollars/worker input ration, who cares whether you call it a piv computer or a door stop? btw, one person's honesty is another man's heresy ;-)
