That is true. Clinton petitioned OPEC to raise prices.

Document it then. I understand just the opposite. Clinton pushed for production boosts from OPEC and kept prices low for 7.5 years.

Only three days ago the Bush Office announced plans to get OPEC to cut production. Just as they did in December. Last thing we remember they were telling us there's a terrible supply shortage. You know what this is all about, keeping the energy cartel high off the hog and dismantling environmental protections. They like energy crises, and helped create the one we just went through. In fact they did create it. Who else had the power to?
