Then define what you mean by "Christian nation". What is such a thing? How is it recognized?

ANd quit being a smartass.

Practically speaking, in terms of sheer numbers I believe the majority of citizens are still "Christian". Legally speaking, the Constitution requires that the state make no laws establishing religion. By tradition, the Founders respected Christianity and it was woven into every day life, including government.....

No, it is not a Christian Nation.

By law, it is a secular nation, favoring no church or religion. Sociologically, it is predominantly a Protestant nation, although the single largest denomination is Roman Catholic. Since most of the mainstream Protestant denominations are "liberal", even a number of Christians are partially secularized, what may be called "post- Christian", insofar as they do not believe in the Creeds, although most do believe in God in some manner. Thus, it is a nominally Christian populace, but with a diluted attachment to the specifics of Christian doctrine........

Oh, and it is "Mr. Spock", which was, incidentally, one of my nicknames in Junior High School.......

Can I just add that your question is quite stupid "Is this a Christian Nation?". What do you mean by your question? What is your answer to it?

I won't avoid it. I have been answering part of that question the last three or four days, with still more to come. Read something besides your own posts now and again..

You have little understanding, ass. Millions of Americans pray daily for this country and it inhabitants, attempting to stop the slide of morality, and the demise of this nation.
