By law the GOVERNMENT is secular. The nation is anything it wants to be.

In truth there is no such distinction or separation to God. A Christian is a Christian 24 hours a day seven days a week, whether standing in the middle of a "church" building or in the middle of the Pentagon or the Capital Building. Every move made by a Christian should be made with the blessings of the Lord God. ' Patrick Henry recognized this to a degree when he said this: It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. FOR THIS VERY REASON(caps mine) peoples of other faiths have been offered asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.
