Thank you for the many enjoyable posts. I was unaware that New Zealand is exporting more than sheep. <vbg>

Condoms on way to Antarctic

A New Zealand company is to install two condom machines at Scott Base in Antarctica.

Christchurch company Jackpot Vending Machines will have the machines in place this month, in time for the spring season.

Managing director Kevin Ashton said his company would stock the machines with chocolate, strawberry and mint-flavoured condoms.

"Antarctica is definitely the most unusual venue for one of my machines. I just hope it's the right season for a condom machine when it gets there," Mr Ashton told The Press.

"That should keep them going for a while on the ice," he added.
