gst, my company supports the local electronics companies. our ceo believes tech is down 50%, yoy. we've had 3 layoffs and i just found out my pay is being cut by a sizeable amount until this storm blows over. i have a pm friend who manages a product with no orders. i have another friend who was just let go from an optical communications company. my old company shut down an entire shift to save electricity. they've had at least 2 layoffs this year. we're pissing in the wind and kidding ourselves that it is raining. i agree the numbers will be interesting.
