You post overly optimistic material in hopes that people will either buy or at least hold. I post the information that you know but are not posting as you don't want people to have doubts about their ivnestment." Stop mischaracterizing my posts and that of so many others. Yes, there are a few posters who post "Go Fred" etc., and who accuse the bashers of being shorts or paid (you are pikers, but that's another issue completely) but most of the more thoughtful longs have engaged in a wide ranging discussion that covers positives, negatives and all sorts of other things. Much of that now takes place on private boards because of the way people like you twist what is said when it is said on a public message board, but there are several longs who have not abandoned the public boards (including yours truly), and if you read what we say rather than twisting it to fit your malignant view of ASTN and the world, you'd see there is a lot more to it than "rah rah rah". And by the way, you are the person who most often accuses longs of being paid hypesters, company employees, stalkers, etc. You are the last person on earth who has a right to be critical of how anybody chooses to express their opinion. Thanks for clarifying that your true motive here is to make it certain for "people to have doubts about their investment." Mine has always been to exchange information and thoughts about a company that I have invested several hundred thousand dollars in. I do not knowingly avoid things I know to paint a rosier picture -- but I do spend an inordinate amount of time rebutting the total crap people like you parade as "fact". And while I may have a positive bias (I wouldn't be adding to my investment at these levels if I didn't), the fact is that, at this point, it is based on tangible progress in achieving the business plan, recognition that this is a tough business and that success is not simply a matter of drawing a line from Point A to Point B, understanding that the reasons it has not panned out the way we hoped (disappointing as that may be) are capable of being understood and are not inconsistent with the company's ultimate success, and the sense (on the part of so many who have taken the time to meet and talk to the people who run the company -- not just me) that they know what they are doing, are deeply committed to getting it done, financially tied to the outcome, and that the company is going to make it when it's all said and done, the problems and challenges notwithstanding. Complex thoughts are not your forte -- if it doesn't fit into your "good v. evil" perspective, you tend to dismiss it in a very condescending, uniquely MC sort of way, -- but the fact is that we have discussed -- often -- the negatives -- and have recognized and acknowledged them as reasonable sources of concern. And remember, the stock is trading at 85 cents right now, which is to say, that the things that are of legitimate concern -- as well as the things you have been ranting about which are not as legitimate -- appear to be pretty well factored into the stock price. Which is what makes this such an interesting speculative play at this price. The rest of this year should be very interesting. Bet it doesn't go anything like either of us expect. MST
