This is fast becoming an Amdroid urban legend. It arose from Andy and Paul's emphasis that "sold" meant in the hands of the end user and not just "ordered" or "shipped." Because they were adamant on this, some of the more paranoid of our brethren on the other thread took those assurances as an implied accusation that AMD was stuffing channels. Very twisted logic, since the statements were made in response to questions about channel stuffing by Intel.
