Why? It's not that I don't think...

I can tell by your questions that you really do need to learn about this company. You need to spend a lot of time on the ntap website reading. As far as fears mentioned with competition...that is about the same way CSCO looked in 93. But there was a reason they succeeded. You can find that on the Gorilla and Kings thread. There are some of us here who think ntap can pull the same off as csco. But have to wait and see how things work out. As far as iSCSI... come on.... it's extremely lame when compared to DASF. Just something else EMC is pushing to try to keep their lead. You seriously need to do some reading....

I have to agree with you that Crystal Ball does pour it on rather heavy. Besides, he hasn't told me yet when Jennifer Lopez is going to beg me to become my love slave...so I'm mad at him.

NTAP patents yes, Patents last a long time, longer than our current market in any case. NTAP software management tools are being upgrade on a continuous basis to fit the needs, tailor made almost, for each customer, and is rated the best in the industry....what more can you do.....a lot surely, but what they have and is what customers need and that need, especially when looking at the exisitng patents and copyright locking in NTAP and its NAS solutions as the best of breed, that NEED, is the key to NTAP's future success, swiftly, upon the market and economic recovery.
