I agree that America is based on Christian values and beliefs (and I think that is good), but I think calling it a "Christian Nation" sounds exclusionary. I don't think that is best way to describe America. Not sure how the original question from assena came up, but as it was worded it sounded stupid to me. If the question was: Is America based on Christian values and beliefs the answer is definately yes. Since the question was: "Is this a Christian Nation?" I would say no. Makes it sound like we are exclusivly Christian. We may be predominantly Christian, but not exclusively.
Scott
