Frank, nothing misguided about looking out for your financial well being. I try to do it every day.

History has shown time and again that the almighty buck (Canadian or US - doesn't matter) always wins out over life, environment, and property. Kyoto is based on junk science, and with the immense amount of attention the issue is getting I believe it will be exposed as such.

I don't think you have anything to worry about - other than 30 degree below winter days. I was once in Red Deer in December and experienced an overnight low of minus 40. It was quite a contrast to the 1,300 F pipes coming out of the Novacorp ethylene cracking furnaces that were glowing cherry red. I was with a guy from Venezuela who thought he was going to die simply by stepping outside.
