Harris is a walking symbol of the corruption of democracy.
To fight to stop recounts in a contested election is about as anti-democractic (and I don't just mean the party) as you can get. Why anyone but a cynical diehard Republican would vote for her is beyond me. She represents a shameful chapter in our history which we still have not recovered from. Now we have what can be considered an illegitimate president (in about half the country's opinion) who lost the popular vote and may even have lost it all for all we'll ever know, trying to shove unpopular programs down our throats, attacking our environment which he promised not to do and letting his cronies gouge us for hundreds of billions. he it literally giving away our entire surplus to the very rich and the energy companies and is proud to be doing so. And he only does something right or compassionate when he's getting killed in the polls, then he does only as little as possible. I can't think of one thing Bush-Cheney have done which I as a moderate have agreed with. Not one thing. Can you (if you're a moderate or liberal)? Only the right-wing hardliners share common ground with this guy. Plus is has no charmisma, cannot speak the English language and is an embarrassment when he tries to say something intelligent. And Cheney whom we knew would resally run things has turned out to be the most corrupt sonofabitch ever to reach high government since Spiro Agnew.

I guess the only thing good you can say about Hillary Clinton - the icon of global corruption whether financial or governmental or personal - is that she raises more money for the GOP than anyone else.

Let's keep Shrill Hill around, she defines the Dems better than Bella Abzug did in her heyday.
