Mums the word. Valuations are static displays in a dynamic milieu. Markets have proved on many occasions that, in the short run, they will be ignored and, in the long run, they will change. Oddly enough, if we have learned anything we have learned that both price and earnings can fluctuate rather wildly in fairly short periods of times. Granted we are currently in a liquidity driven market rather than a value driven one. I would expect the latter to initiate bull markets and the former to fuel powerful rallies.
