You prick a bottom by.....

gggg, - Well no, les see, - Pick a bottom.

1) Weeeeellllll you tie a lead weight on a string and throw it over board. When it finds the bottom you haul it out. The more modern preference is to use sonar, or other technological marvels.

2) Throw some EW at it, it will eventually bottom out!!! gggg

CU and Good Luck to GE!
BTW, definition #2 is the preferred way.ggggg

Berney-- LOL! If I could pick a bottom I'd not be here more than a month. I had a bunch of GE from very long ago. The stuff hit the fan but my trailing stop pulled me out @ 54. Was able to load from 37+ - 39+ and a little at 40&change after the hit. Sold most as it came off 50. Looking HARD to get back in but do not see any legs yet. No strong buying going on.. HOPING to replace it all plus add a bunch under 40. Nothing says it will get down into 36 again soon,,, but certainly nothing indicating 50 soon either. The trend remains down and the direction of least resistance is down... what can put a floor under it other than getting close to the 52 week low? I NEVER thought I'd be looking at GE as a trading vehicle but it has certainly been better than holding even considering the tax bite--- but 20% ain't so bad,,

OT: Weeeellll, I think I gotta fix for the PBoR...

Wanna sue your HMO, but don't want the trial lawyers to make a bundle??? Hmmmm, because I got a simple mind and because I believe all lawyers should take up residence with the fish, here's my solution.

Pass legislation limiting the lawyers fees to a maximum of 5%! hehehehehehe

This way, if there is a suit the lawyer will make it for 5 billion and it will get thrown out, or he won't do it at all. Of course if the suit has merit the folks sitting behind the guy with the long black robes may decide (in their infinite wisdom) that it's worth it and go ahead. Which is what they are supposed to do anyway.

NEATO??? QED.

Cu and Good/Great luck with that bottomless pit - General Lee? gggg
