I'm more fundamentally oriented than technically oriented. I see the XAU and HUI continuing their decline here amidst the "slippery slope of hope". Most who post here are either always Bullish or always Bearish on gold. I take the middle or "in between" road. It pays to be sometimes bullish and sometimes bearish. I got no allegiance to any stock, sector or index. I'm just interested in profit when I make a trade in these markets. All the talk here about a gold standard is indeed interesting, from a theoretical point of view, but it is not happening here in the U.S. any time soon. It takes humility to go outside of one's cherished ideas and values and take a look at the real world we humans live in and see how it operates and profit from it rather than complaining and whining. Life is short.
