Yield for arbs is 40%! not 8%. by shorting stock they reduce their basis to less than $1.50 ($7.48 convert - $6+ current share price). an 8% yield on $7.48 becomes a 40% yield on $1.50. dilution to stock is small compared to impact of keeping company afloat. shorting will continue today maybe even tomorrow, then stock will move on fundamentals which are actually improving according to levy,
