Why more disturbed? the AG is not the supervisor of elections. As it turned out, between Harris and brother Jeb, the Bush campaign had the Florida government pretty well sewn up when push came to shove.

But you're right, there should be conflict of interest rules for those officials who directly adjudicate the mechanics of the election.
