You know what Warren Buffett said? "I hate airline stocks"!
UAL (UAL:NYSE - news - commentary), whose primary subsidiary is United Airlines. UAL is an example of an extremely cheap stock that should stay cheap. Performance in virtually every metric, in comparison with the industry, is embarrassingly poor. Until a new management team is installed at UAL, look for further degradation of its valuable asset base.
