Art, what is also clear is that Mt. Pinatubo & other recent volcanic eruptions have spewed more CO2, SOx, and NOx into the atmosphere than the entire history of industrialized man. And done it with a sudden spike rather than strung out over centuries.

Again, I put forward the opinion that we just don't understand what's happening, and are placing far too much importance upon our own actions - when compared to the forces of nature they are perhaps insignificant (with respect to CO2 - not the real poisons I mentioned).

We humans seem to have a need to believe that we are powerful and important. Perhaps an asteroid will come along and change our perceptions permanently...
