I cannot predict how things will end but... next time I should make my homework better before betting my money - when I went short with qqq yesterday - I was too late thus a nice peace below the days high - but the days high was not a convincing point for a short - because we was clearly below the daily resistance - more, $compx still had broken through this resistance before and therefor not only the moment but even the whole thing would have to be reconsidered - finally we still were clearly below the moving averages Next time, I swear, I will be more patient. ;) Jury

Not good to swear. :o) Actually, I believe your September target has significant potential. It was only August that I was wondering about. There were just too many bullish patterns are some key tech stocks. As to GE, seems word is flowing that the Bush administration is going to require GE to dredge a good portion of the Hudson River, where one of their plants long-ago polluted the environment with PCB's. I imagine that a good portion of the potential costs are already booked, but it creates and additional level of uncertainty with Welsh retiring. Certainly, did not like the fact that the story broke the morning after I bought the stock. Another good reason not to hold overnight. However, if I'm going to be in the penalty box, I feel fairly comfortable in GE. TB
