Here's your opportunity to go take a peek at one..!! The "..Concours Italiano.." in Carmel, CA - featuring the Laforza - on Friday the 17th is open to the general public, but there is a fairly stiff entry fee of $60.00 per person. pinksheets.com The main exhibitors are folks like Ferrari, Maseratti, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, etc., etc., which are definitely in "..sticker shock.." territory. Like the handy-dandy little "..Weber grill and the Johnsonville Brats.." on TV, the entry fee aparently keeps most of the riff-raff out. Ha ha. If you wanted to make a real bang-up weekend out of it.... You could camp out the whole weekend (..suite at the Holiday Inn and cooler full of Margueritas..) and stay for the Concours D'Elegance on Sunday. They will have all the classic Auburns, Dussenbergs, Cords, Rolls Royce's, etc., etc., there - that have starting prices like $1.5MM for one's that are considered "..fixer upper's..".
