I doubt any conservative could or would defend Clinton. He left office in universal disgrace.

It was always hard enough to get Dems to defend Clinton - it always seemed to be the same hacks.

As for Bush, he'll easily be re-elected and unlike Clinton, he'll manage more than half the vote. The only reason he didn't in 2000 was that last minute drunken driven story and the vote suppression efforts of the media - they held back Bush states and declared Gore the winner in FL and nationally before it was clear he had lost.

A lot of conservative are criticizing Bush because of his staunchly moderate policies. Is amnesty for illegal aliens Conservative? Increased Federal meddling in education? His tepid and inadequate tax cut?

As a Conservative friend of mine says...
