unc...i saw your post on volts thread, so i came over...

covered call or put sale, both short positions, both are "cash in" strategies, which i embrace, and all you have to remember is that they work best at direct opposite points in time....

recently, as today write the calls....when the stock reaches the lower part of the trading range, sell the put, cover the call....if you are intimate with the stock, a rhythm can be established.....only warning is not to exceed your cash or margin capacity should you be assigned...

i try to keep it simple...too stressful for us old guys to do these spreads, straddles, strangles, etc....why bend over and tear your pants when you can remain upright and visit your positions on a monthly basis?
