Deregulation was forced down California's throat by Pete Wilson
Can I ask you a question? Are you aware that the California Legislature was heavily Democratic at the time dereg passed? And still is?

And that that legislation passed UNANIMOUSLY? It got 100% of the votes? Including ALL the votes of ALL those Democrats?

That's quite a piece of strong arming. AMAZING man, that Wilson.

You'd SWEAR a lot of those Dems had to have wanted to vote for it. Because otherwise they wouldn't. And just what would Wilson have done about THAT?????

Hello, American Spirit. Did California voters vote on a referendum that endorsed utility de-regulation?
Since I live north of you, I've wondered how it came about. I understand that LA has its own
fountain that is used to generate electricity. Last Christmas, I noticed that they never turned down the lights and someone told me that was because the county had its own source for electricity.

Cheers,

Mephisto
