A semi analyst told me recently that Cisco had kept $800mm of DRAM as inventory on their books but sold it for $20mm to another firm because it was not going to be worth anything by the time Cisco's sales eat through all that... another electronics company bought it for use in PC's to emerging markets where they don't have to be state of the art systems.

Broadcom's stuff isn't DRAM but its short product cycles are not unlike the DRAM inventory value bleed...

Glenn, Have you kept Broadcom?

Yes. The only stock in which I lost confidence and sold was Ariba. Broadcom is my largest position now too.
