Thanks for posting 81, 82, 83. I'm still working my way through the article. I never followed the SilkRoad thread. I remember downloading a whitepaper from them but not understanding it very much and moving on to other things. I'll look at the discussion on the SilkRoad thread when I get some time.

I find my greatest difficulty reading these articles is being sure I know what the acronyms mean. So often they hold a whole operational concept - takes a while to get through these articles.

Ahhaha... is this 16 GigE ring similar to a FDDI topography?

I have to admit that I'm not well versed with how RSTN is deploying MAN services.
