Hi richard surckla; The top 4 computers used DDR. Here's the scores and memory types for those 10 top "Power" machines, ranked from best to least best:

Computer Score Memory
--------------- ----- ---------
Xi 1400 242 DDR SDRAM
Sys Perf 1333TD 237 DDR SDRAM
Poly 880KR-1300 237 DDR SDRAM
MicroFlex 1333A 231 DDR SDRAM
Gateway S1700 224 RDRAM
Sys Perf 1700 215 RDRAM
Micron Max XP2 210 DDR SDRAM
NuTrend Mega 2 210 DDR SDRAM
Dell GX400 203 RDRAM
Dell Dim 8100 198 RDRAM

Here's a quote from the article, you silly:

AMD Athlon processors extend their lead over Intel's Pentium 4 competition with the debut of the 1.4-GHz Athlon CPU. Athlon-based systems often grab higher PC WorldBench 2000 scores than their PIII and P4 counterparts, and this month is no exception. The highest score on the chart is a blazing 242 from Xi Computer's 1400 MTower SP.

Here's another:
WHAT'S HOT: Xi's 1400 MTower SP includes an AMD Athlon-1400 processor with 256MB of 266-MHz DDR SDRAM, and 82GB of storage space available on two hard drives connected to an IDE RAID card. All this led the 1400 MTower SP to a PC WorldBench 2000 score of 242, the highest we've seen yet for a Windows 2000 system.

But even if RDRAM had provided the highest scores, wouldn't it have bothered you that there were more DDR machines than RDRAM? After all, this is before Intel supports DDR. What will the situation be like when the 7 DDR chipsets for the P4 are all out there? BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

To all: After searching further the $2245 price was AFTER the $360 price reduction.
