You're laughing because your foolish and an anachronism. Unionism is in LT decline and if anything that trend is accelerating as people become better educated, despite the worst efforts of the NEA. The UAW now makes less than 1/2 the cars sold in the US and soon the same will come for trucks - faster than people realize - the top rated trucks are now all non-Detroit models. Go ahead and blame management but the only thing they really can be blamed for is not taking on the unions decades ago. Decades of neglecting product, sacrificed for placating the unions. Something had to give and it's been quality and market share. Unions only "succeed" in the public arena where there is no competition for results. Even then, privatization is the answer for high costs and shoddy results.
